What do health coaches do?
Health coaching focuses on establishing behaviors related to your health. It's your choice what aspect of health you would like to change. It can be fitness, nutrition, sleep, stress reduction, or managing chronic conditions.
Health coach is your partner. Unlike an athletic coach, they don't tell you how to live your life, but ask you powerful questions so you could figure it all out yourself.
Coach can help you to set and prioritize your goals, break them down into actionable plans and adjust them to fit your life circumstances.
Coach can also walk you through wellness practices that you'd like to adopt, accompany you and cheer you up, help you to recover from setbacks and come up with alternative strategies to reach your objectives.
Coach can work together with other members of your care team to ensure maximum effectiveness for you.
Coach does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. They help you implement what your doctor prescribes and adopt it to fit your llifestyle.

Coaching isn't a quick fix. Sustainable change takes time and we respect it as well as the pace you need to make the change. Coaches won't rush or judge you, but instead, will hold your hand for as long as it takes.

Never went to a gym, because you have no idea how to use the equipment and don't want to feel embarrassed? I'll walk you through it and make sure you get comfortable.
Want to try mindfulness techniques, but afraid of how you might react to the practice? I'll come up with options that fit your preferences and make sure you enjoy the experience.
Have no idea how to cook? I'll help you find the right recipes, teach you the basic cooking skills and accompany you at the grocery store to help you choose the ingredients. Then we can cook together until you feel confident in your kitchen.
